U9 TIER 1 REGISTRATION
Players wishing to tryout for U9 Tier 1 with SMHA, and any association, are required to register in Spordle. In accordance with the NOHA/OHF rules, players are only permitted to register for one association.

If a player has registered for Tier 2 with an association, and wishes to tryout for Tier 1 at a different association, they would need to request a release from the Tier 2 association to be able to register for the Tier 1 evaluations at the other association.

In the spirit of free player movement, if your player is unsuccessful in making our Tier 1 teams, SMHA would be happy to provide a release, upon request, so that the player can attend other Tier 1 evaluations with other associations. To simplify the process, SMHA will not be requiring U9 players to pay registration fees until after the Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams are formed.

There will be prep-skates and evaluation skates in September, and we will share date, times, arenas and costs at a later date.
